The mess hall

Another huge cavern, but this one is filled to the brim with tables and chairs. This is where practically the entire population of the Resistance comes to eat.

Emma smiled in acknowledgment at the kitchen hand that passed her her lunch with their eyes sparkling in awe. She was used to the newer recruits doing the same thing. Not many thought to ever get this close to one of the Council of 12. Apparently she and her fellow 11 were the modern day Robin Hood and his merry men to the war torn country. Emma really couldn't care right at this moment though. Her mind was preoccupied with other thoughts. For instance, there was meant to be a raid on a small convey of vehicles transporting the most recently activated supers to the super soldier training camp tomorrow night. Knowing that firepower would most definitely be needed against the heavily armed escort, the Council and voted her in as leader of the attack team.

Unfortunately majority of the more senior fighters were at a weekend training camp to get them up to speed on the new weapons the Government had developed. This meant that Emma's team was going to be made primarily of the less experienced new recruits.

Emma sighed. Not only would she have to do majority of attacking, arrange the escape route for the new supers, and limit the loss of life, she now had to also grow a pair of eyes on the back of her head and make sure none of the newbies did something stupid and got themselves caught or killed!

Her eye's flashed with internal fire and the end of her hair caught alight. Hurriedly the kitchen hand backed up thinking Emma was about to attack him for a reason he couldn't hope to comprehend. Emma calmed herself though and threw the poor guy a reassuring smile.

"Sorry. Rough day." She explained then nodded at the plate of food in front of her. "Thanks for this by the way." She smiled again as she lifted the first spoonful up to her mouth. Pumpkin soup. Yum.

Shrap did something quite stupid, well it was stupid to him.
He sat at the table Emma was sitting,
Hi there, im uh, one of the newer recruits and I think im goin' on that raiding mission...
He had a green ghillie stealth suit and he had a .50 Cal sniper rifle on his shoulder. Under all of that camo was a Desert Eagle pistol, various grenades, mines and traps. He also had food, water and other things necessary to keep him on the field. Including bulletproof armor.

The other recruits eyed him oddly, they began to think he was stupid and all of that. Simply because he was wearing that camo suit.

Emma glanced up from her meal and eyed the guy who had taken a seat across from her. He was so fully armored it boarded on funny. It was expected that you would have some form of weapon on you at all times, but this guy had a freaking arsenal! Emma didn't have to wait long for the inevitable question.

Hi there, im uh, one of the newer recruits and I think im goin' on that raiding mission... The guy said awkwardly.

Emma looked at the guy more carefully. He was in great physical condition and looked like he knew how to handle his guns, only question was did he have powers she could use?

"Do you have any powers?" She asked not answering the guys question. She could only take a limited number of people and the stronger they were the better. This guy was physically fit but the final decision would be based on his powers.

Shrap thought for a moment,
If you call really good luck, and being able to snipe rats from over a mile away a power, then I have 2. He smiled.
From what Shrap got from his recruiter, this person is Emma, and she's one of the leaders.
Oh! Damn! Shrap thought
Ma'am He added.

The other resistance troops began making bets that this guy would not last a single day.

Emma smirked slightly as the recruit hastily added a "Ma'am" to the end of his sentence. She loved it when they did that.

"Please, just call me Emma." She smiled.

"Now as for weather you can come on the raid, i think we could use a man of your talents. However i would only use you as a sniper from some distance away. There will be no up close and personal fighting for you. You'd be killed in seconds." She said eyeing the massive amount of stuff on the guy. It was sure to slow him down.

"There is one other thing i need to know before i can say absolutely that you can come." Emma grinned. "Do you have a name?"

Issac Thule, or Shrapnel. Shrap said, he stood up and stretched a bit.
He walked over to some food and got a small loaf of bread, and some turkey. He sat down at Emma's table again and pulled out a knife from under his Camo suit, he quickly made a sandwich. He raised an eyebrow, but it was kind of hidden, due to the Camo suits hood.
It tastes kinda funny...oh well, I've eaten worse. Shrap thought, he continued eating.

Wake was walking into the Main Hall of the Resistance Territory with his head down. He had a pair of sunglasses on to sheild everyone else from the blue glow his eyes gave off.

Wouldn't mind seeing some action... This place is a bit more dull then I'd first predicted...

He looked over to his left and saw a man dressed as a bush standing next to someone dressed similar to himself. You could never go wrong with black. He kept walking and stopped at the back of the line behind many of the other resistance members. There weere so many of them, it was remarkable that they hadn't already won the war.

He stretched out as he was waiting and a few of the monitors shuttered with static and then went black. The one downside to his power. He took a charge from anything he was within range of. Accidental of course, but, still, it would always blow his cover.

Emma smiled at the newbies name. "Shrapnel huh? It suits you." She said and watched as the guy went to get some food. That was when she heard some of the monitors near the line for food go staticy, then die. She frowned as she spotted a guilty looking guy hurriedly stop stretching. That's when an idea came to her.

"Guy with the massive static charge. Come here. Now." She called over to him and nodded at the seat beside the recently returned Shrapnel.

If she was right with this plan of hers, this guys powers would be very handy in the raid tomorrow.

Son of a.... Every single time...

Wake put his hand to the side of his face and shook his head. He hated his power sometimes.. But, he couldn't debate with the fact of how often it saved his ass.

"Yes Ma'am."

He began to walk over to the two at a slow pace. He didn't like being open with the recruits of the Resistance... not so much that he didn't like them, but that he felt he couldn't trust anyone here. After all, he had worked for the ones they were fighting. He knew some people didn't trust him, so he would simply return the favor.

He nodded to the man in camo and returned his gaze to the woman who had called him. He took off his Bono sunglasses and pocketed them, showing that she had his full attention.

"Have I done something wrong?"

Emma's eyes flashed with internal flames as she realized this guy had no idea who she was. He must be really new. She wasn't angry though, just the opposite in fact, it would be entertaining to see how he reacted when she told him who she was.

"Just the opposite in fact." She said answering the guys question. "your powers would be very handy on a raid i'm coordinating for tomorrow night. Tell me, can you do that on more of a large scale size?" She asked.

She'd leave him stewing as to why she was commanding such authority for a little while longer. There was no fun in giving the game away just yet.

"Lady, If you wanted to shut down a city, just let me walk down the street, and give me cover fire. if there's nothing else that we need to discus then my powers, I'll be going to get my food. Count me in for the raid though. Souds like good fun."

He put the sunglasses back over his eyes and began to walk back towards the cue in the line for food. He pulled some of his hair around his face to hide his eyes from view even more. He didn't like the thought of people knowing he wasn't normal...

Who does that lady think she is? Demanding about my powers? No one has access to that information except for.. High.... Ranked... son of a...

Emma kept her face a mask of interest as the electro boy answered her question then haughtily stormed off to go back to the food line.

He slowed as the realization of who she must be dawned on him. Emma's face split up into a grin.

"i'll expect to see you tonight at the briefing. You can get the location from anyone, just ask them where Emma from the Council of 12's dorm is." She called out after electro boy as she relaxed back into her chair.

"The same goes for you my bushy friend. My room around 7 tonight." She smiled across the table to Shrapnel.

With electro boys help this raid may go off with far less injuries than it would of before. Which then meant far less paperwork for Emma when she got back to base. Always a plus.

His head sunk even lower between his shoulders and his hair fell even further over his face. He was more red than Charlie Boorman and he knew it. He could only imagine how well that could have gone, had he used his manners...

"I'll be there..."

He didn't bother to tur around. He really didn't want to know what was going on..

Nice job Wake... She was only one of the Council of Twelve... Jeez...

Shrap nodded in acknowledgment, then finished his sandwich and placed the plate on top of the trash can.
ill be at the training place for a while. Shrap said, before he walked out of the cafeteria.
He smacked a Resistance Trooper on the head,
What was that for?! He yelled
ill survive this entire war. Shrap said, with a smile.

Shrap then walked out of the cafeteria and to the training camp.

Emma smirked as her two new raid squad members left the mess hall. They were rookies yes, but they had character and may just be good at what they do.

Emma got up and put the remains of her soup on the trash can next to Shrapnel's rubbish. He said he was going to train, that would be a good time to sus out just how good he really was.

Smiling in acknowledgment of the many Resistance fighters spread throughout the hall who waved or called out to her, Emma left the mess hall and headed for the training room.

Ventus walked into the mess hall and his eyes started watering because he was so happy.
Man I am soooo hungry its been like 2 days since I had anything to eat.
He walked over to the buffet table and grabbed 1 of everything, 2 of everything, 3 of everything, and 4 of everything. He went to sit down and started eating the food was gone before you could say “wow, that guy looks really hungry.”

“Mmmm that is delicious. I think I'm gonna take some chips before I go.”

Ventus walked over to the table and grabbed a bag of chips. He started walking some more and ended up out side.
Guess that's the end of the tour. Eh better go home anyway.
Ventus jumped up 2000 feet high and broke the sound barrier. He flew all the way back to the city. And landed near his factory/his house.

Keaton walked in the giant room with a small lunchbox. He sat at the edge of a table and opened his lunchbox which contained a PBJ, wheat thins, bottle of sprite, cookies and creme Hershey bar and gummy bears. He laughed at himself he felt like a little kid at school. Sitting by himself eating food packed in the morning and not buying it from the counter. He looked around the room there were people there but he didn't know any of them. He grabbed the sandwich and started to eat it. He created a force field around a chair and started to fly it around the room. He then did it to another chair and they started to battle. He did this with his free hand. looking up in the air he made them fly around the room tackle each other.
