Powers/Abilities/Weapons etc: Mathew has the opposite ability of his sister Emma. Matthew has the ability of Cryokinesis. It allows him to lower his internal and external temperature, to below zero. Matt is able to freeze air moisture to create super hard ice. He is capable of creating ice shapes and sculptures. Matthew is also able to reduce the temperature of matter, causing it to freeze. His body is capable of becoming organic ice and water allowing him to virtually take any damage. While in his organic ice form, his body is extremely durable, and it is capable of restoring itself. Because of his powers, Matt is also able to use water as a weapon. When angered and unable to completely control his power, his freezing could have weather climate changes in certain areas.

His weakness is mental strain it takes to use his powers. For example if Matt were to completely loose the lower half of is body, he could regenerate it turning his body into organic ice. But it takes a lot out of him mentally and physically. If he took to much damage, he would need time to restore himself back to normal. Another weakness would be extreme heat. He can take hot temperatures, but the hotter the weather the less water moisture in the air for him to use his powers. But this doesn’t mean heat totally takes away powers, its just that they would be far less powerful and effective.

As for weapons Matt dislikes guns, and rather just use his powers and combat to fight. He does carry a few short swords and knives. He also uses needles that put people to sleep, the needles are wrapped around his wrist like a bracelet. As for combat, Matthew is very well trained in hand to and combat, as well as experienced. He has impressive physical strength and speed for human limits. This combined with his powerful ability of cyrokinesis makes Matthew a very dangerous opponent.


History/Description: Matt comes from a wealthy and highly respected family. He grew up well with his younger sister Emma. Before the whole Genesis Gene, Matthew was already taking martial arts and acrobat classes. He got along well with is sister, they rarely ever fought about things. With him being the older, he would put his life on the line before seeing her get hurt. When they got tested for the genesis gene, they tried to suppress their powers, but that didn’t last long. They were picked up and sent to the Genesis program, although Matthew was against this, he went to watch over his sister and other friends that acquired the gene.

Matthew could often excel in his obstacles and test…when he wanted to. Sometimes he would show resistance in actually not doing anything for the government. He liked to just lay around not doing a thing, unless the threatened him by saying they would kill his sister. That’s the only thing that got him actually doing something. When he showcased his powers, the Marshal was astonished. Saying that his power could have no limits, only the mental strain would be Matthews negative factor. Soon there after Matthew and Emma started meeting with other soldiers to form a resistance team against the marshal and the government.

Matt agreed to it aswell as help create it, he didn’t like being used and controlled at all. There was twelve of them including him and his sister. The first and the most powerful members of the resistance. They surprisingly managed to escape working together, of course it was hard but they did it without losing a life. Although the person who came closest to death was Matt, he held a personal hatred on the Marshall. He was focused on killing him before they left, which was near impossible do to such heavy guarding by other super soldiers. Matthew put it behind him and left along with the others, he still wants to kill the marshal at all costs but he isn’t wiling to put others on the line for it.

Over time others like them joined there cause for change and freedom. This fight became an all out war against the government and Judas Marshal. In recent events it has been a while before anyone has seen Matthew, he said he was working on something rather important, but he has been keeping a close eye on his sister and others. But he will be making a return very soon to the council.



Uniform/Appearance: For appearance Matthew recently dyed his hair sliver/white, its short and messy. He is quite tall, it runs in the family, he stands about 6 feet and two inches. His body is in really good shape, well toned and muscled but keeping a slender look. For clothing he doesn’t like to wear a lot of clothes or uniforms. Because of his powers he doesn’t get cold in freezing weather, its always warm to him. He mostly seen a tank top shirt and cargo pants. He wears many bracelets and likes shades. He doesn’t wear any armor clothing because his powers allow him to recover from most injuries. Only rarely does Matt wear a black jacket, but when he does he has a knack for getting it ripped up in fights. Also look at Avatar : P

Personality: Matt is more laid back then his impulsive and quick to anger sister. He has a go with the flow attitude, and he is rarely ever seen stressed or angered. He enjoys making jokes and fooling around. He likes to just lay back sometimes, and often persuades others with his carefree mind set. But this doesn’t mean Matt doesn’t get serious or angry cause he does. When on a mission he still carries that carefree persona, but he uses it hide his more serious side. Aside from this Matthew can be quite prideful in his skills, and is fiercely loyal to his friends and teammates. His pride is one of his positive and at the same time negative traits. At times he can get over his head and self appreciates himself, but its good that he is confident in not only himself but in others as well. His loyalty knows no bounds for his friends and family, he would place his life on the line without any hesitation for his team. He places all trust in his team, because he aspects the same from them.
