Alyss Vs Emma 2

Alyss looked around the desolate area her eyes locked on the scent that grew from the HQ. Her wounds had healed overnight at Robert's home and she was ready to take this bitch down at last. "Come out Emma. " There was a faint cool breeze coming from the South that blew Emma's scent towards her. Screwing her nose up in hatred Alyss flexed her fingers looking down at the floor. She breathed in deeply focusing on the task ahead. Emma wouldn't come alone this time. iF she did then she was a downright fool. Alyss hadnt come alone either. She patted the gun that sat in her pocket smiling sharply. Now came the wait.

(OOC: Yup. She's not alone. Although I will delete this post if Emma wants it, Jackson is here to protect her, seeing Emma wanted a grudge match..)

''Let's just get this over with. I'm not all into anyone but me fighting that witch but if you must..But I'm going in first, just to make sure she isn't gonna set us up. Perimeter checks already said there was no army..but still..I don't trust her. There's no way you're going without me.''

Jackson opened the hatch to the HQ and walked out with his trustworthy minigun on his shoulders. His armor had been completely repaired and modified, with much help from the combined work of Gizmo and Jackson. While the armor was a lot darker, it had retained a reddish glare, and suited Jackson as always. After all, what would a Tank of a man be without at least the weight of a tank on his shoulders? All he missed was a cannon, and that could probably be arranged. He cracked his knuckles, cracked a smile, and looked at Alyss. He found it humorous afterward but he couldn't resist...

''Not Emma..I'm the Juggernaut..Bitch.''

Jackson shaked himself loose a bit, alongside the metallic sound of heavy armor colliding. He had to see if there were people around. Another techy gadget in his arm, some sort of heartbeat sensory device would do that for him. He doubted if this arm mounted thing Gizmo installed would help him more then the HQ scanner but it was better to be safe then sorry. He had to keep Alyss there though, 'till Emma would arrive. The sarcasm could be tasted in his words as he spoke..

''So...heard you're quite lucky. Instead of being buried in more then 55 places by me, it seems you're going to be cremated. What made you choose cremation? I was soooo looking forward to 'help' you see more of this world..''

No bleeps. So far so good. The scan wasn't complete but it was doing something...Gizmo installed something that seemingly worked perfect...That wasn't always the case. Before he'd think of all the experiments Gizmo shouldn't have done, he focused back on Alyss. Given half the chance, she'd try something, whether he was prepared or not. She was still there though.

''What happened. Did I snatch your spliced tongue last time? Aren't you just delighted to see me? I know someone else who is...''

In answer to the ''someone'' he meant, Jackson grabbed his minigun from his shoulders and pre-spinned the barrels around a few times. His device of death was, to him, as awesome as ever. The Bane of Judah's soldiers, but not heavier then a simple gun in his hands.

Alyss smirked to herself, watching the Juggernauts everymove with her narrowed eyes. She pushed herself from the boulder of which she leant against and walked closer to the great hulking man in front of her.
"Yeah, pretty gun and all Jack, but just try it. You've broken my neck before and I'm still here. Somehow, you don't scare me. Sorry," she added, sarcastically. "Besides, I'm not here to fight you so put your toys away, little boy."

Waltzing backwards, with a slight jump in her step, she turned to face Jackson again, a firm smile etched into her face. "I'm here to talk to Emma. No-one else. Not you or that rat of a brother who I can smell now he has returned. And no, I did not come here to be cremated, or to die. As far as I can see, you've all failed to kill me so far....hmm. Good one, guys. congratulations. Now, I know you would love the pleasure of having your ass handed to you by a small girl, but I am here to converse with Ms Ashton. So, if you please...."

She paused for a moment, taking a small box from her pocket, running the smooth wood over in her fingers. "But thank you, for this." she held up a tiny storage device, made of a hard set wood, that had the initials 'D.R' carved into them. "From the base- from Darren. It contained...some good information for me. A last request sheet, a note to me and- this." she clicked open the box and drew out a memory stick. "The name of the man who killed him. And strangly enough, I was surprised to see that it did not read 'Jackson' but instead read 'Brandon'- so I give you thanks for letting me know the true identity of Darrens killer."
She placed the memory stick back inside the box and snapped it shut. "Oh, and tell Brandon, and the rest of the Council of Twelve that they are dead men walking. I'm an unstoppable freak of nature, Jack. And you know it."

She stopped speaking and reached into her pocket, throwing Jackson her only gun. "I'm not going to hurt sweet Emma, not yet anyway, so don't worry your 'pretty' little head about her."

Emma bit her nail in frustration in the stairwell leading up to the surface from the HQ. Jackson insisted he go first. In truth, if an ambush was waiting for them, he was the best one to get into the line of fire, simply because the bullets would probably bounce off him.

And anyways, Emma had been planing on not encountering Alyss for another day or two at the least after getting out from the med bay. Instead she'd gotten 2 minutes. As she had come up on the HQ exit the scanners showed Alyss standing outside. Emma had to admit the vamp scared her a bit. After all, she had nearly managed to kill Emma several times over. The thought of being beaten into an inch from death yet again and so soon after recovering from the last round was not very appealing. But there was no getting out of it. If Emma didn't go out now the pyro knew Alyss would blackmail her out by killing Jackson. Plus every member of the Resistance was watching and would hate her for backing out.

Emma couldn't stand it anymore, she was a doer, standing around down here whilst Jackson did some stupid little test to see if anyone else was out there was just not her. And besides, it was time this blight on society was put down.

"Alyss! It's been too long! I was beginning to miss not being mortally wounded." Emma called sarcastically as she stepped up out of the HQ to stand in front but to the right of Jackson. Flames already engulfed her body, she wasn't dumb enough to let Alyss drag her away to who knows where again. If the fight stayed here then Emma would have the entire Resistance at hand to come to her rescue.

"You know, i was expecting you to rip my throat out whilst i was sleeping, or have a shadow stab me at lunch, you know, something sneaky. I definitely did not see you coming back here... again. And what could we possibly talk about huh? I mean, we've covered how i hate you and you hate me, how we killed Darren and how you're going to kill us, do you have some other startling new discovery to add to this extended bloodbath? Did i perhaps step on a flower you admired when we were 5? Really, go ahead, i'm interested to know what was so important to say that you would risk returning here again, knowing that everyone in the Resistance is gunning for you and that an entire army is climbing those stairs up here as we speak."

Alyss nodded at Emma slightly as she came out of the Resistance HQ. Shielding her eyes from Emma's flames she waltzed forwards with a less-evil looking smirk on her face. ''I didn't come here to fight with you.'' she continued briefly. ''I came here to discuss the transaction of the rest of my belongings to the middle of the wastelands. Some of my...stuff is still there and I would very much like it back.'' Swiveling round to face the heroes in front of her a glimmer of sadness crossed her face. ''It's just journals and photos. Nothing dangerous so there's no need to worry, it won't blow up in your face or anything.''

She tilted her head, closing her eyes in the sunshine and revelling in the heat from Emma's body. ''Marshall hasn't been happy with his little vampire girl lately. I think I destroyed too any bases to be worth the keep. I came here merely to tell you something, not to fight or kill you.'' Moving closer to the pair, she narrowed her eyes with a glare.

''I will be living on Resistance territory for a short while. Marshall doesn't want me in his precious base for a time, so I will be living with a Mr- in fact, you don't need to know. He lives in the Resistance sector of the city, so if you see me there that'll be why. All I ask a couple of weeks until I can get back into the base. Its a lot to ask. But I not going to attack you and I would rather expect the same of you.''

She smiled widely, opening her eyes in the sunlight. Squinting slightly in the brightness she looked back down at Emma and Jackson. "Also...the 'army' of Resistance members coming up the stairs?"
A smile flickered across her face as she listened to the sound of footsteps moving up the stairs. "It doesn't sound like a whole army, Em. It sounds like your brother. I suppose either the Resistance don't think I'm worth the men...or I'm too dangerous to face? I like to think the latter, but I am trying to be more modest."

She smirked to herself before looking back down at the floor, taking a deep breath in.
"I don't want to kill you for a short while, so don't worry. I just don't want...the person I'm living with to be harmed. You'll be safe, He'll be safe."
Naturally, she was lying. Of course she planned to murder Emma Ashton, but her previous attempts at matching her face on were obviously not going to work again.
This bitch had too many people protecting her:

Jackson, the One Man Army, was a major obstacle. With his seemingly never ending talent of getting her riled up, he had the major plus of strength on his side. He had killed her once before, plus he had gadgets galore.
Brandon was a slippery character to deal with. Extremely clever and ruthless, but she knew little about him.
Mathew Ashton. Something to do with ice, she knew even less about this boy, but she expected him to be as powerful as Emma, though he was the opposite.

So Alyss had decided to go for a different approach. Calm and quick, in the night. Take out the leader and the Resistance will fall like dominoes. She had her alibi to be in the area, it was true that Robert Aire had taken up residence just outside of the Government HQ, which though she didn't agree was safe, she enjoyed the fact it was close to the Resistance area.

She had stayed at Robert's that evening before, trying to make sure he'd be safe. After loading his place up with guns and security systems from the Government, she had left for the Resistance this morning. With her speed, it was less than 20 minutes away, which was an added bonus for her. Straight across the wasteland, so nobody would see her. There was one problem though; she had begun to care for Robert and really didn't want them to hurt him. Ah well. As soon as she had killed Emma, she would take Robert and they would run back to the Government. Or at least, that's what she'd planned.

Today was a 'plea of peace' to them. To her, she was surveying Emma's current condition, as well as the entrance to the base. It was the same as usual, high metal gates, armed Supers on the front. Nothing she couldn't easily slip past in the shadows. She knew the layout of the base like the back of her hand, there was no doubting that. And she could be pretty invisible if she wanted to be. Not tonight though, not this week even. Perhaps even the week after. Lull Emma into a false sense of security.

Jackson's comment about acting classes almost made her laugh.

A calm smile crept over her face as she paced slightly, tapping her fingers on her hips. "So, do we have an accord?" she asked, placing her shining black shoes together and smoothing down her floral cotton dress.

"No."

Matthew came from the stairwell a cold breeze could be felt from him as he walked out. Wearing his black coat and tank top underneath. His shades covered his icy blue eyes. A small cocky smirk was visible on his face, just below his messy white hair.
Hands in his pockets and legs straight standing togther, at looks Matthew was not ready for a fight. But actually he was more ready then anybody to throw down with Alyss. He wanted to kill her for betrayal, that was enouph to piss Matthew off. But she hurt his little sister Emma aswell. According to him, this bitch was as good as dead. No mercy would be coming from Matthew.

He walked past Jackson and Emma who was blazing with intense fire, this always startled him a bit. Again with the struggle for temperature between him and his sister, She was having the area heated while he was having the area cool to nice but cold breeze.

"I know I know you only want to talk to Emma, but thats not gonna happen today. What you did is unforgiveable by my standards. So I could careless on what Emma decides to do with you."

Matthew took off his jacket to ensure her that he will not be letting her go for anything. He tossed it to the side, and then proceeded to crack his knuckles after.
" You will not be getting away...So now that we are understood about that. I give you the first move."
Matthew said putting on a grin. The temperature got down right cold, no longer a nice breeze. Just plain cold, regular humans would be shivering to their bones.

Although he didnt look it Matthew's eyes are dead set on killing Alyss here and now. According to him she will not be escaping, she will not be negociating, she will only die, and Matthew will grant her death.
It was easily visable, Matt's confidence in himself. He almost seems to cocky for his own good, but its that same attitude that has gotten Matt to where he is today. It can be his downfall or his greatest weapon. But truthfully Matt is itching to fight anything, of course he wants to snap Alyss's neck for hurting his sister.
But Matt could fight anything right now, infact he wanted to go in first instead of Jackson hoping there would be a anbush just so he could take them all out.
This wasnt like his normal easy going self. He barely even met Alyss and she has driven him to a point of extreme violence. It slowly reminds him of the time he had when he was alone. All the fighting and the killing deep down he hated it, but in this world you have to what you have to do to survive.

(Dude, they aren't in a room. They're in a wasteland between the Resistance HQ and the city)

Alyss wrinkled her nose at the newcomer. "Gosh Matt, time hasn't been kind to you, how long has it been?" she sniggered.
The cracking of his knuckles made her winced- bone crunching still had that effect on her after her own death.
"What I did was unforgivable-what the Resistance did was also unforgivable. But I am, as Jackson so kindly put it, trying to get a life. Darren Ray can haunt you himself, I'm done."

As she turned to leave, the temperature dropped to a freezing low, Matthew's work she supposed. A shiver ran up her spine as she looked back, rubbing her arms in a mocking motion. "Bit chilly out here isn't it?" she smirked.
Dropping her arms, she assumed an upright stance, her hands folded behind her back, glaring at Matthew, piercing his own gaze with hers. . "I expect Emma's updated your icy self on what I can do and the truth is that- it's a lot more than you know. I've already been killed once by you filthy Resistance idiots and I'm still here. I've been so close to killing your leader on several occasions. But better than that, this may concern you, Jackson. I have a way of shielding...ohh, let's say an army, from your detection." a smile grew across her face. "Are they here now? No. I did indeed come alone. But what I'm trying to say is that- if you want to keep breathing I wouldn't try anything. Because I could destroy you with my little finger, honey.""

With a grin settled into position on her face, she danced closer to Emma. "So, is that an agreement? I won't attack- you won't attack the person I am living with- because he has nothing to do with all this and I don't want him hurt because of me?" she said, sternly.

If you believe this Emma, you'll believe anything.
