These 12 teenagers were part of the original test subject group for the Genesis Project. They all grew up together and went to the same high school. Majority of their fellow students were used in this first trial of the Genesis shot. Only these 12 escaped. They are the founding members of the Resistance. Over the years they have collected many more members as Marshall continues to grow his super soldier ranks.
