Moderatorship

Ok so i'm finding running this site is getting so full on i'm lacking in time to actually post. So i'd like to put a question to you all.

If you wish to nominate your self to become a moderator please reply below. Applications close at the end of the month. I will then put up a poll where everyone can vote for who they think should become the moderators of the site.

There are 2 positions available at the moment and i am hoping that they are both filled. So get your nomination in please or you will miss your chance.

The 2 members who are voted in as moderators shall be put on a probational period of one month just to see how they handle their new positions. If i find their work acceptable then they shall become full time moderators. If not, the polls open again and we're right back where we started

Do you want us to even bother applying if time and energy is questionable on our end, or we're so new we don't nearly know anyone or still outside the storyline quite a bit?

The invitation is open to all. However if you are super new then the "some of your work" section is particularly impostant as i and other's will most likely use this to see what you are like as a mod/person.

If you feel like you would prefer to get more involved in the site first then that's fine. I applude such actions. Anyway at the rate this site is growing i will probably open up other mod positions as the need requires. You may apply then.

Basically it is up to you. Nominate yourself if you feel like you are fit for the job, then it is up to the voting to decide who gets the job.

Experience: Currently an admin on Status:Outbreak. Not the head admin but with 3 other people the 2nd chain in the chain of command. Since our admin is largely inactive nowadays we do most of the stuff nowadays as if we're head admin's anyhow. I helped develop the banking system (Still run it and oversee it), did the vast majority of the building of the weapons/ammo/vehicle vendors and now are helping oversee it (Although I always discussed what I was writing up with others before I tried to put it in as the final version, and so I didn't do it alone), currently am the "Go to" Admin in military matters/the main admin in approving military characters, have helped do "GM's" (Game master updates. I don't do too many of them much at all anymore). I also provided a good amount of help resources for Law enforcement/mercenary/military roleplayers, and did a big thread regarding ballistics/firearms/etc., where I talked about stuff, and discussed the subject with other people at the same time. Overseeing "job counseloring" on outbreak

I moderated the standard RP "Operation: Backlash" on RERPG's board, moderated 3 "Werewolf games" on renaissance kingdoms.com and when I wasn't the moderator for the games people wanted me back because they fell apart, moderated 3 threads on there that were quite successful (One went to 20+ pages of RPing), and helped Mikey a moderator on RERPG come up with area's during the big 3.1 to 4.1 update on RERPG

Why you want the job: Well, if I'm here I'm here. I might as well help out while I'm here and get involved... I'm a hands-on guy anyhow who a lot of the times likes to make himself useful, get some work done, and get his smiley face stamp. Its a unique opportunity to help work on a site as it expands, too, and be a part of the process of building it up.

Why you think you should get the job: I'm proud of my work and thinks it shows itself off. I know I'm knowledgeable and have been known for my research skills, amateur "Expert opinion", military knowledge (A guy who came back from air force basic a while ago said I know more about some stuff then some guys in the service do in a conversation), combat-ish knowledge, and technical knowledge.

I'm a very, very experienced RPer who's been all sides of the coin--- male characters, female characters, humans, non-humans, bad guys, good guys, Military, civilian, Law enforcement, scared college kid, all sorts of nationalities... And I've done all sorts of themes. I'm not stuck on Military RPing and themes, and in fact lately I've been getting into the "Average joe" interactions
