Powers/Abilities/Weapons etc:
Powers- has the abilities to heal others and himself. Only one person at a time and has to be able to touch them with a body part. He can heal up to 35 people that are on deaths door and an even great number if they only have small wounds. Also he has super strength. He is able to life 3 tons and a little past that if he is in a good mood or angry. When he gets angry his powers don't change he can just get a burst of energy. Meaning he can go from depleted back to full for a short period of time. after that jump he is usually incredibly drained. He has perfectly gold skin. It is resistant to many things including bullets. Close range will crack his gold skin but it never shatters. It still stings him and he can be easily hurt. His skin has never came off but it could be possible.
Weaknesses- Cannot heal himself as quickly as he can heal others. His fatigue is directly related to the amount of people he heals. He isn't invincible meaning he can be shot at but due to his gold skin he can withstand a lot of pounding. Telepaths have no problem getting into his head. Can only heal one person at a time and can't heal the person if they are dead. His powers only work if he is awake so if knocked unconscious he won't be able to heal.
History/Description:
Lets start at the beginning. John Wilkins was a very popular teenager at the local high school. He was a senior in high school and the star soccer player. His nickname was Golden Boy. Because of his ability on the field and his golden hair. He had a winning smile that could take any girls heart. He was the teachers pet and always helped friends in need. This all changed when he was called to the nurse to get the shot. He went to a local testing facility to take the shot. He sat down in the waiting room just like every other person in there but what happened to him was different. He walked into the doctors room they raised his sleeve up and inserted the needle. He looked down at the needle and saw the orange liquid slowly go into his body that's when he felt it. A weird tingly feeling starting from where the needle entered. He looked down and saw his arm turn completely gold. He was horrified. Gold and it was steadily spreading. He ripped of his shirt with new found strength looked down and half his chest was covered in gold. He looked at the doctor who picked up a radio and whispered something into it. His chest was covered now and it was slowly making its way up his neck and down his legs. He looked at the doctor and yelled. He looked around the room frightened of what he was becoming. That is when he noticed the mirror he ran over to it and looked at himself. Fully gold his face and all. He looked in his eyes perfectly normal except the color turned from blue to gold. He felt his hair it was completely normal it hadn't changed a bit but it did get a little darker. He felt his arm it was somehow stronger. He flexed and felt the muscles surge in his body. That's when it happened two men with guns busted into the room. They walked over to John and placed weird looking handcuffs on him. Keaton was to stunned to do anything. His usual calm appearance faded he didn't know what would happen.
He was at a military camp. The same camp the Council of 12 was at but i will get to that later. He was fighting another super with the ability to teleport. John had gotten extremely good at predicting other peoples movements and a teleporter was a good match for his skill. The teleporter teleported behind John who had been expecting that. He turned around quickly and struck his fist into the teleporters stomach. He hit harder then he thought. The teleporter coughed up blood. He wasn't friends with him but he still didn't like to see a partner get hurt. He layed his hands on the wound and he felt a flow of energy spread down into his hands. The teleporter sat up and exclaimed he felt as good as new. That is when he found that special talent
While in camp he made friends with some of the Council of 12 members. He was included in the breakout because of his unique skills in the battlefield. He enjoyed hanging around with the twelve although he knew he wasn't the strongest and wasn't the best healer. His powers as a combination came in handy. He believes what Judah Marshall is doing is wrong. He wants people to have there freedom back and he also wants to become normal. His skin was changed to gold and he hated it. He changed and he was viewed differently. The 12 accepts him and he finds friends in the resistance.
Uniform/Appearance:
John Wilkins has completely gold skin. Gold hair including arm leg etc. He has golden eyes which used to be blue. His smile is perfectly straight white teeth. No freckles and completely shaven face. His uniform usually consists of golden fabric of some kind he changes all the time. But you can always tell its him by his golden skin.
Personality:
John Wilkins was always the heart of the party. Funny, good natured, outgoing, confident, trustworthy, honest, caring, smart, competitive, thoughtful, creative, easygoing overall a great guy. When he gets angry he can loose himself a little bit. He doesn't get angry when you mess with him he gets angry if you pick on a friend or treat someone without respect. That is horrible in his book. He doesn't mind killing as long as he knows it is for the right reason. That includes staying alive or saving others. He dislikes the Genesis Project not for personal reasons but how it effected everyone else in a negative way and how they didn't need the project other then personal gain.
