Katsa's apartment (restricted)

I get paid pretty well so i am able to afford an apartment in the better side of town. It is pretty large.

It is kept clean by a hired maid. Her name is Julie.

the apartment has three bed rooms (one is very small and located behind the kintchen). all the bed rooms have their own bath rooms. there is a kitchen, a study, a lounge room, a laundry and a linen cupboard. The study also doubles as a library as it has the back wall as well as half of the left and right walls covered with book shelves that run from floor to ceiling. there are also two short shelves that stand vertical to the back wall ending where the side shelves do.

The hall way has wooden floor boards as well as the floor of the lien cupboard and the study however the study floor is softened with Persian rugs. The hall way floor has various rugs thrown over it. The kitchen, laundry and bath rooms have white tiles. The bed rooms and lounge rooms have white carpet. The walls are painted a creamy white or light blue. Most of the furniture is made of dark wood. The chairs, however, are covered in comfortable leather or fabric.

It is a great apartment. I love it.

Julie had finished her shopping and used her key to open the door of my apartment and walked in.

"Miss Katsa" she called "are you home?"

There was no answer so she shrugged shut and locked the door behind her. Julie got to work putting the shopping away and cleaning the apartment.


while she was vacuuming Julie turned up the stereo system in the lounge and started singing along with the music. She went into the bed rooms to dust and clean. this was her favorite time of day. While her mistress was a work she could turn the music up really loud, just the way she liked it, so that she could hear it in all of the rooms.

As it was the middle of the day, miss Katsa whould not be getting home until late, so dinner planning could wait until later that day. but she really needed to dust and clean the spare room. She only did it twice a week and as it happens, today was one of those days. the went into the room. it was huge, with its own bath room. it would take a while.

when she had finished the room, Julie came out and stretched. it didn't seem as though Katsa was coming home tonight, well, at least not until really late. Because of this Julie made some dinner for herself and left a peanut butter and jam sandwich on a plate covered in glad wrap with a bottle of water beside it sitting in the center of the kitchen table. Julie locked up (this included the windows, front door and the door to the study). she had to. Even though they where on the top floor there had still been times where someone had scaled the wall in order to get at Katsa. those that want to fight the government and Judah where not deterred by high, steep walls. Once that was done Julie went to here room to watch some TV as she ate her dinner. She fell asleep watching reruns of the simpsons.

It had been a long day. I parked my motorbike in the parking lot underneath the apartment building, taking off my helmet and riding jacked and storing them in a locked box and the front of my parking space.

I then hopped into the elevator and got out on the tenth floor. There where only two apartments on each floor because they where so big. One to the left of the elevator and one to the right. I turned right.

I could hear no movement inside the apartment so i assumed the Julie had gone to bed. smiling, i unlocked and opened the door as quietly as i could. I stepped inside and re-locked the door. I did it without even thinking about it. I had done it so many times.

I turned from the door to find no lights except for the kitchen light on. I went into the kitchen and found a peanut butter and jam sandwich there for me with a glass of cold milk. I drank the milk in three thirsty gulps and took the sandwich to my room. I had a quick shower, got into my PJs and jumped into bed to eat my sandwich and watch some TV. something tells me Julie was doing the exact same thing a me. i couldn't help the small chuckle that escaped me when i thought about us doing the same thing.

I got dressed up in my short black dress and little black high heals. i was frowning because i wasn't used to these cloths. They where stupid and i couldn't understand why any woman would want to wear these things. I couldn't even do i high kick without showing off that which i would rather not. I think that the only thing that purely feminin was my hair. I really did care about my hair... but that was it. I would much rather pants but i realized that i would probebly get scolded my Jundah if i did.

When i left my room, Julie was in the Kitchen. I went in there and found her armed with a camera. As soon as i walked in she took a photo. Before i could tell her to delete it she grinned at me and said "I think this is the first time i have seen you look so... so... well, girly. I'm so proud" she sniffed as if she was about to cry. "i want photo proof. this is a momented occasion and it might be the first and only of its kind. she said sounding for a ll the world, like my mother even though she was only four years older then i was. I rolled my eyes at her.

"I will find that and when i do i will delete every photo of me in a dress and you will not be able to do a think about it." i said in an exasperated and slightly defeted tone. I knew as well as she did that Julie could hide things from me in places here i would never be able to find them.

I grabbed my bag, said good bye and went down to the ground floor and then to the street where a taxi was waiting for me (i couldn't very well ride my bike in a dress). We where delaid by a bike rider who wouldn't move and who began to shout a stream of profanities when the cab driver asked him too. I was already irritated because of the dress and this man was just making it worse. It got to the point where i couldn't take it anymore and i ended up getting out of the car and hanging him at the top of a lamp post by his underwear. This made me feel much better, so i was grinning like an idiot the rest of the way to the meeting place, using the GPS the Judah had given me to gide us there. The best part was getting him up to the top and then watching him struggle from the ground. Also, we happened to be on a thin a deserted road so noone but the driver saw what happened and he had sworn not to tell lest i do the same to him.

I arrived back home from the party late and exhausted. it had been a weird night, made weirder by the fact the Judah had been behaving very strangely. i shook my head at the thought. i had eaten a lot, drunk some and danced. I had even spoken to Emma Ashton of all people. As we where not allowed to openly fight i wanted to see if i could get her to spill some insider info but to no avail. she spent most of the night making goo goo eyes at some really big man. all in all it had been a fun but fruitless night.

I stripped and dressed into my PJ's, climbing into bed with a sigh. i late slept into the next day and woke to the smell of pancakes.

Over the next couple of days i worked with Radiant as we planned to defend the convoy trucks full of new supers from a bunch of annoying rebels. Radiant was to move into the spare room in my apartment soon so i helped her fix it up. I was not sure exactly when he was moving in, i just knew it was soon.

On the day that the convoy was setting out i got up really early (around 4 o'clock am) to get my stuff together and be at the convoy start point by 6am. i was not happy about the early start and grumbled all morning. so much in fact that Julie ended up chucking a pillow at me to shut me up.

"come on, it won't be that bad" she chided "you always sleep in, its good that you get up early every now and again. keeps you alert."

I glared at her but there was no force in it and continued packing. When i had all my stuff together i sat down to eat a small breakfast that Julie had made for me saying that if i didn't have her i would live of take away food and die of malnutrition. I grinned at her knowing that she was probably right. I was finally out of my bad mood - her food always does that to me.

Soon i was running out the door with a piece of bread in my mouth, late for my mission.

For once in my life i had gotten up early of my own accord. I had woken up at around three o'clock in the morning. I had a nice long hot shower and went into my living room to do some stretches while i watched the early morning news. after doing this for an hour i decided that i had to get out so i went to my room and changed into my leather riding pants and a long sleeved t-shirt, it was getting cold but i had to wait until i got down stares to get my jacket as well as my helmet (they where down in the garage along with my bike). Leaving a note for Julie, my house keeper, i grabbed my keys and left. i left at about four thirty in the morning.

After my long ride i dashed home to grab some things that i needed for work (my long sword, daggers and so on). when i flew in, i startled Julie as she vacuumed but i was out before she could make a sound of protest. i was late again and they would be angry (not that i really cared). my tardiness was the least of their problems.
