Walking down the country side Empty
PostSubject: Walking down the country side   Walking down the country side EmptySun Apr 25, 2010 6:00 pm

A young man can be seen walking down the country rode. His blood red haired flowed down over his eyes and the back was cut short. He was wearing a pure dark black shirt and he also had a pink teddy bear with him. it was positioned on his shoulder as if he would die if it wasn't there. He slowly walked over towards a tree that was on the side of the road and he ran up it looking over the horizon. He let out a soft sigh"Great....i should be far enough away now"He quietly mutters to himself

''And where from would that be?''

The young man turned around. He hadn't noticed he was lone. He didn't see anyone just now. He was sure he had heard a voice though. Oel walked around the big oak tree and finally saw the one that had muttered towards him. The man didn't look back though, he was looking up the tree.

''Now it would be in your best interest to move away from the tree..or stay completely motionless''

Not even giving the Oel time to move, Gregory clicked the small red button on his full metal suitcase and threw it to his side. In the meanwhile, Oel looked at the man. He was dressed in a full suit except for the jacket being a lab coat. Black sunglasses were in the lab jacket's pocket. His hair was messy, and he had a scruffy beard. He had a walking cane with him, and was fairly tall. Much to Oel's surprise, the suitcase opened and tranformed into a sentient minigun turret, apparently looking for a target. It didn't seem to bother the weird scientist, who was looking at the tree, with his eyes closed!

All of the sudden, the minigun started prattling, firing at the leafs od the tree at maximum speed. After about 5 seconds, the turret's barrel stopped spinning and a small double click was heard, probably to notify no more targets could be aimed at.

''Good. The new targeting systems seem to work as they should. All the leafs with a faint yellow color have been hit. Color spectrum seems to operate optimal. You can move now. The turret didn't recognize you as a wavering half yellow leaf.''

Gregory opened his eyes for a second and Oel noticed the man had shiny jade coloured eyes, but they didn't seem to be used. The man was blind, but could still see in some weird way. He had to, as he walked to his turret, pressed another button, making it retreat in the safe comfort of it's suitcase. With the same Russian accent as he had, Gregory talked. He was a bit suspicious of this new kid.

''So...where are you far enough away from, as you said earlier? What is your name, and are you all alone? Well..''

Gregory, with his special gift, noticed the teddy bear Oel carried with him. His demeanor grew a bit more friendly, even if it could just be a decoy. He had a turret and powers of his own though, so what did he have to fear? All he didn't have was his trustworthy grenade launcher, but it Radiant made him take a side arm for safety purposes. As if a sentient turret wasn't enough...

''Well almost alone. What's your name and what is his?''

Oel eyes widen as he heard a voice slowly call out to answer his question and his eyes if possible widen even farther at the man's next statement. He decided that he did not have enough time to move away from whatever it was he was talking about so he just stood still and his eyes widen as he threw out the sentinel gun and watched as it blew away severely leaves on the tree near where he was. He listened intently as he muttered off some comments about the gun, never being taught in the arts of science or technology he had no idea when in gods name the man was talking about so he just nodded his head absentmindedly once in awhile during the speech.

He looked up when the man made a inference about himself. He raised his eyes. Why in lords name would this young man want to know anything about him. He took a thought of what he could do. He could probably survive the turrets using his sand but it would be possible that Teddy would be hurt as well. he could not risk that so he decided just to answer his question.

"my name is Oel Nico" he says softly looking over towards him"I wanted to get away from the city. Judah let me out but knowing how he was i could not be sure. He said as long as i didn't chose a side he would let me live peacefully" he says almost in sort of a mini rant to himself."God damn it...i knew i shouldn't have trusted him. Teddy said i shouldn't have.....I should always listen to teddy" He rolls off and seemingly gets control of himself again"Well....That mini rant answered your question i guess...and the teddy bears name is teddy....i'm alone because really i have nobody else."

Walking down the country side Empty
PostSubject: Re: Walking down the country side   Walking down the country side EmptyMon Apr 26, 2010 12:29 am

''So he does not want you to pick a side. Sounds to me that is going to be a problem comrade. You see, there are three forces here, all as interesting as they are. The Government with Judah, the Resistance with Emma and a third, the SFH, Supers for Hire. They all pick a side. The Government and Resistance are sides, and the SFH picks the side that pays them for their services..''

Gregory picked up the suitcase, and with the use of his walking stick, walked back to the young man.

''So, where are you headed for, with your comrade Teddy? Comrade Judah is everywhere, so where would you go? Outside the country? You know, it seems to me that you are somewhat lost. I do not know if I can help you, as I value Judah a lot. He is high in my regard. You see, I am one of those that had helped develop the Genesis shot, I have my own powers, and Judah finances my research in whatever field it is. I have good life here...''

Gregory retrieved the sunglasses from his pocket, and put them over his eyes. Even if he was blind, he wasn't stupid. While talking, he scanned Oel for anything interesting. Energy patterns, bodily heat, mass, brain activity. It seemed the shot affected his arms more then anything else. Gregory stopped scanning. The boy could posses almost any power. It had to somewhat unstable, as the boy made a weird presence. In Gregory's eyes, he seemed to be mixed up inside, showing in the way he talked, the way he held himself, his pose, and of course, the way he talked to his trustworthy teddy bear comrade. Gregory instantly formulated that this state of mind was the thing that mixed up the boy's bodily Genesis powers. He had yet to find out what however.

''So...what has the Genesis shot given you? Where are your parents?

It didn't seem right. Something was off. He was looking at a boy that showed the biological traits of a 19 year old, but he still had a teddy bear. He seemed to have mental issues and his arms were brimming from the Genesis shot. All in all, Gregory's curiosity was piqued. He knew a lot of Genesis archetypical powers, and had memorized over 500 files of patients including himself and the council of 12, but he didn't know this one. It seemed the shot really had gone in mass production lately, something he had advised against. His mind raced and raced until he simply thought it was best to wait for an answer, and to introduce himself.

''Where are my manners. In short, I am doctor Gregory Karkarov, Head Scientist of The Department of Problem Solving, working for the Government directly under Judah and the Board.''

He looked over towards her"To answer where i am going i will more then likely go to work with the SFK. i do not believe that is choosing a side. Just getting payed for doing a job. Right teddy?" He asks looking towards his teddy bear waiting a moment or two as if expecting an answer and apparently in his mind he did. He turned himself over towards Gregory again"Ohh yes. Teddy agrees with me. Judah should have no problem with Oel working with the SFK. If not teddy will protect me and i will protect teddy. That is how it always was. That is how it was back in the orphanage. That how it was with judah and his soldiers. That is how it will always be. Just me and teddy against the world."

He looked over towards him wondering why he would ask him what the shot gave him...and how that he knew about the shot that he was given. He then remembered his comment just before about working closely with Judah and considering him a comrade as this strange man called him. He let out a soft laugh"Well besides opening up my mind to show me that my teddy will always be there for me it allowed me to manipulate sand and turn it into weapons or a near ultimate defense." He says lightly spinning in a circle tossing teady up into the air and catching him as he made his way down"See....teddy trusts me to throw him in the air at a height that would kill him....but he trusts me to catch him....Do you not see this wonderful relationship we have?" He asks his eyebrows raised as he laughed and continued spinning around in the circle before stopping when he made a comment about my parents"They are dead...they both died before i was able to fend for myself...they are the reason i went to the orphanage. They are the reason i met teady....I AM HAPPY THEY ARE DEAD" He all but yells clearing teady having a huge impact on his mind.

He looked over towards him as he introduced himself as the leader of some science division. He had no idea what it was"Well...i never took science class for school...can you put it in simple moron terms what you do?" He asks his eyebrows raised looking at him.

Walking down the country side Empty
PostSubject: Re: Walking down the country side   Walking down the country side EmptyWed Apr 28, 2010 8:14 pm

((OOC: Wishes do come true at time Oel. Just be patient Wink ))

Gregory rolled his eyebrows. He, as he thought, wasn't talking to the smartest kid he ever met. That also was the understatement of the year. But next to that, the kid was willingly admitting that the Genesis shot has changed his mental state and has allowed him to commune with his teddybear. Gregory reckoned it was a one way deal, since he had not seen any energy, be it kinetic, mental or electric, go in or out of the teddybear.

Gregory's face showed a sign of impression. He was truly impressed by Oel's...teddybear. The little toy had the ability to be defended by some kid with sand powers, was caught whenever he fell down, and Oel didn't even seem to feel remorse or his parents. That was, on the outside. Believing he was taking too much time for himself, Gregory muttered to find a good explanation for what his department did, but he knew the true was as much blunt as crude. It did fit though.

''Well, to put it short... I blow stuff up.''

Oel's face was clearly caught with surprise as he saw Gregory smile as he said it. He meant it!

''You should see the look on your face boy. I am serious now, I have one big room to use and I use it for experiments. I love explosives, so I experiment with explosives the most. You know, it is called the Department of Problem Solving for with all the experimenting, where this little friend of mine was developed too..''

Gregory tapped on his full metal suitcase before talking, showing it to Oel again..

''...For all my inventions are mostly used to solve one problem of Judah. Can you guess which one it is?''

Almost seeming like a pop quiz question, Oel thought for a moment, then looked at Gregory for the answer. Oel answered that the Resistance might be Judah's biggest problem.

''Very good. You are smart enough to work for me already! And as you know, explosions can solve very big part of this problem! It is why my suitcase also has explosive ammunition! Now..''

Gregory got seriously more serious as he looked at Oel.

''What was the thing you had with Judah..and his soldiers? Surely you might be strong, but sand against soldiers? Explain, little comrade. I must assume he had not sent any Super soldiers after you? What did you do to anger comrade Judah?

Gregory had many assumptions about this. The most obvious one would be Oel lacking common sense. Gregory reckoned he could go berserk or collapse without his trustworthy teddybear...an almost maddening thought really. Gregory could get pissed without extra sugared coffee, his walking cane, his sunglasses, painkillers or actually helpful assistants..and that was a long list, but he earned that right. In the meanwhile, he kept looking at Oel. Something had been so wrong that soldiers would be sent after a kid...

Oel looked over towards him as he explained the situation of the rebellion and also of the governments plight. He basically just merely nodded his head and said yea in the right places. IT wasn't that he didn't understand what he was saying, it was that he didn't care. He however looked up when he made a comment about his sand not being enough to let take out soldiers and other objects of the sort and he let out a loud laugh looking at him.

"May i ask you a question gregory?" He asks looking over towards him"How much pressure is required to break bones? I believe it was 8 pounds is it not? See im not an idiot i just have my area of expertise that i am not good at as im guessing you aren't good at the subject of religion ehh?" He asks laughing softly looking over towards him

"So eight pounds as we got right? Picture sand....covering an arm, leg or if im pissed at the person their whole body crushing at weights of over 100,000 pounds per square inch on every place of the target's body. Unless they had the most powerful body armor they would be killed instantly and even if they did they would be in a whole hell of alot of pain. And not only that but the sand is an almost perfect defense. I have yet to find something that can get past my sand" He says laughing looking over towards him"And there are other stuff as well but then again a magician who gives out all of his tricks wont stay in business that long....and why did i do that pissed off judah? Let me tell you something...when you figure that out tell me and teddy okay?"
