The training hall

Mustang dodged the the upper cut with ease, striking back back with to jabs of his own. The force of his hit seemed to have intensified from the massive increase in pressure, causing them to be more effective. "Keaton maybe you should just leave. Before you piss him off even more." Dean said shifting his eyes over to his brother, while still keeping Juggernaut in his eye sight.

Keaton Matthews, a sparring and Juggernaut looking a bit pissed. Those where the things running through Brandon's mind. He didn't seem very interested, and didn't look like he paid much attention to his fellow Council members words. He was however grateful Juggernaut mentioned the words mercenary and honor, as these gave him much needed insight in the current situation, but thought it would be much wiser for Juggernaut to keep his full attention on his opponent. Similar to fighting a stronger person the yourself you should never stray when you're fighting a weaker one, not that his opponent looked weak at all, he survived a frontal clash with Jugggernaut and decided to go on fighting.

"No I don't. Sparring is personal, and you're not included in that word." he replied in a monotone voice.

As much as he came here for training, he didn't have a need for sparring at all. His sparrings where purely combat related, with no powers usage at all, as it should be in his eyes. He was curious however when the council decided to hire mercs, as he didn't receive a word about it. Mercenary's always chose the option that suited them most in battle, even when that meant walking over to the other side and betraying the one who contracted you. They said different, but they were all the same.

In the meantime the fight between David and Goliath resumed, not that it held much interest anymore. It was now time to start his training as Brandon didn't like falling behing on his schedule. The area just behind them was still clear of debris, and lets just hope it says that way. Brandon moved over, spilling no more words on the subject. His body low on the floor with his right leg stretched forward, holding his left arm along his stretched leg, with the other held up high, closely resembling a hook. Thus he started his training, keeping an eye on his companions.

Keaton heard Dean shout to him that he should stop bothering Jackson. Keaton hated when people told him to stop doing something or that he was to weak to do something. He didn't really care that the new guy blew him off but Jackson just got on his nerves. "The Golly Mean Giant can shove it up his ass." Keaton flew up to the ceiling to watch everyone else. He really wanted to trip up Jackson maybe put a force field around his ankle or shoot him with a blast but he wanted to make it fair for Dean. And he knew he would get yelled at if he did so.

Dean was becoming ticked off with everything going on around him. As he ducked under Jackson's leg he could begin to feel his anger boiling within him. It was only a matter of time before his mind snapped. "Fine I guess i'll kick it up another notch." Mustang stepped back slightly, exerting more and more force from his body until cracks began to form on the wall from the immense pressure. Focusing all of that force into his strikes Dean aimed a straight punch for Juggernaut's mid-chest.

Keaton got even more pissed. He did not enjoy Jackson's company. He could easily inflict some pain on Jackson. Shove him with a huge force field. Or maybe choke him with a force field. Shoot some blasts at him. Keaton knew that he couldn't beat Jackson not even closely. Jackson has a power that isn't really effective from blasts or anything like that. He would have to suffocate him if he wanted to win. He would also have to keep away from Jackson as much as possible. If Dean doesn't beat him then maybe he could take a shot. But like Jackson said he wasn't at his full power and he would need to be to have a better chance at beating Jackson.

As Dean and Jackson began fighting Alice shut her eyes. No she wasn't closing them to escape the brutality of what would begin but to make sure she wouldn't be surprised. Instead of seeing the outcome of this battle she saw Brandon. She smiled at him as he entered the hall. Staying silent and nearly forgotten Alice observed.

Alice was pleased that Jackson had answered how he had. The truth was astonishing to hear come from such a large and forceful man. But Alice knew that was hardly all Jackson was. She's just glad he let the others see it to, even if only a little.

The room started to get heated. Alice saw the sparks fly from one Super's mouth to another's. Of course they couldn't just spar and not get personal about it. Men.

Alice didn't care enough to step in for awhile, more like she knew the only way they could get over it is by themselves. She was however a little uneasy as to what Keaton might do. The hired super clearly was getting a bit feisty, and seem to keep altering his choice between sending his own force into the fight or staying out of it. With that in mind, Alice turned part of her attention to Brandon, who seemed to be the only sane one in the room besides herself. She didn't disturb merely observed.

Brandon didn't train like a lot of Supers, unlike Keaton, Jackson and Dean, he did it on his own. Something she did as well normally, given as a majority of her power resided within her mind.

Trevor walked into the training room to see two people training to such a extent he was suprised that no one had been killed yet. There was a woman sitting across the room watching the fight. I interesting fight. I'll go train by myself and wait for the winner. He summoned an electroic robot to train on. Using a sleight of hand to hide his power, he thew off his traveling cloak and silmultaniously summoned a long bone out of his hand. He then crafted it into a eloquent sword. All this took place before the cloak hit the ground. the droid likewise grabbed a sword and the two began to spar. Nothing like a good fencing bout to clear the mind. just me and my oppenent fighting with pure skill.
